Through experiential learning and various team-building exercises, the youth with differing abilities and background are trained to become Ambassadors of Integration, bearing the mission of integration to their peers and the community. By intensive training and interaction, their self-confidence, social skills, leadership and problem solving abilities are greatly enhanced.
TREATS Integrated Youth Ambassadors Training Scheme comprises of:
Orientation
The young people are introduced to the concept of integration and be prepared for the later stages of the programme.
School Exchange
Participants are given opportunities to know each other more by school exchange and visitation activities.
Training Camp
Participants enhance self-esteem and acquire leadership and problem solving skills while enjoying the fun of integration activities.
Community Education
The young people work hand in hand to arouse public awareness on integration by organizing various community education events.
School Sharing
Participants appeal to their schoolmates by sharing their positive experience and fun of integration.
Inauguration Ceremony
All trained youth are given an opportunity to organize the ceremony and to share their experience. Certificates and awards are also presented to all participants.
