Through first-hand experience, increased exposure and real-life encounters, the Outdoor & Community Inclusive Programmes aim to break down the barriers between children with different abilities and backgrounds so they can learn to appreciate and accept each other as well as understand the importance of a diverse and inclusive society.
This programme offers a supportive and equal platform for mainstream participants to interact with children and youth with different abilities. Children work as a team to accomplish different group tasks and missions through tailor-made inclusive games and activities. This new and exciting experience helps participants develop communication and interpersonal skills and a new perspective on people with different abilities. After an entire day of interaction, the eventual goal is to develop mutual support and respect for individual uniqueness.
This programme groups children and youth with or without disabilities into teams that work together on various community assignments with different community-related themes. It aims to enhance community involvement and helps participants to connect with the community.
